Survey: 40% of Americans ‘Satisfied’ with Their Jobs
A recent survey by the Flatiron School, a coding boot camp in the U.S. based in New York, NY, shows nearly 40% of respondents between 18 and 44 years old being “satisfied” with their jobs.
It also found 36% of respondents 18 to 29 years old would quite their jobs immediately to pursue more passionate careers, compared to 28% of 30- to 44-year-olds.
And roughly 44% of respondents with 10-plus years experience feel “confident” in learning a new skill to advance or change their careers.
The survey queried people’s views about education impacts career success and influences satisfaction and confidence levels.
