Maintenance Superintendent
This position reports directly to the Director of Maintenance
and improves equipment reliability through implementation
of preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Oversees
the maintenance activities and personnel that pertain to rotating
equipment, pumps, compressors and electric motors.
Requirements
B.S. Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or
Reliability Engineer in the oil refining or petrochemical
industry.
Must possess experience in supervising crafts and shops and
in charge of rotating equipment i.e. pumps, compressors, turbines
etc.

The Department of Aerospace Engineering in the A. James Clark
School of Engineering at the University of Maryland, College

hypersonics, microsystems, rotorcraft, smart materials and
structures, and space robotics. It has 20 faculty, six chaired

Description
Designs, implements, and supports distributed
storage product software written in C. In this challenging
position you will work in a high-performance team that creates
and supports a highly available, distributed iSCSI storage
product which is based on HP X86 platforms running the Linux
operating system. You will implement, debug and support software
that deals with the distributed nature of the product assuring
the state of the system is known and the integrity of the
data is maintained, work closely with Support to assist with
field issues, develop automated tests, and enhance the product.
You will grow your knowledge of distributed systems.
This persons duties would include:
· Development of SANiQ Software.
· Handling escalations from Support :
initial triage, bug recreation, isolation, & resolution,
involving appropriate developers if necessary.
· Creating patches and service packs.
Working with other groups to make them available to the field
in a timely fashion.
· Adding support enhancements to the
product: Support Tools, Performance Monitoring Tools, Debug
aids, Log Analysis Tools, etc.
· Needs to have a strong desire to understand
how the whole system works.
Qualifications
· Must have degree in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
· 2 - 10 years experience developing
Linux based software, preferably storage related.
· Must know C or C++.

Qualifications
• Proven technical knowledge and experience
