Maintenance Superintendent
This position reports directly to the Director of Maintenance
and improves equipment reliability through implementation
of preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Oversees
the maintenance activities and personnel that pertain
to rotating equipment, pumps, compressors and electric
motors.
Requirements
B.S. Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor
or Reliability Engineer in the oil refining or petrochemical
industry.
Must possess experience in supervising crafts and shops
and in charge of rotating equipment i.e. pumps, compressors,
turbines etc.
Salary Commensurate with Experience and Ability

Biomolecular Engineering Faculty
Position
School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering
Cornell University invites applications for a tenure-track
or tenured position in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular
Engineering at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full
Professor) consistent with the candidate’s experience
and achievements. The successful candidate must demonstrate
the ability to build a strong research program in the
broad area of biomolecular engineering, and to effectively
teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
For senior appointments, the successful candidate must
show evidence of having developed an active and world-class
research program.
Candidates with a strong biomolecular interdisciplinary
focus within the sciences and engineering are encouraged
to apply. While the position resides in CBE, the successful
candidate will benefit from Cornell’s unique Graduate
Field structure which fosters interdisciplinary research
and teaching and offers faculty the opportunity to collaborate
across a range of departments and disciplines. This search
is part of a college-wide hiring effort in the biological
area. Over the course of the year we expect that there
will be additional faculty openings in this area within
other College of Engineering departments.
