WESTERN & SOUTHERN LIFE ADVANCES FINANCIAL EDUCATION IN HISPANIC COMMUNITY The Western and Southern Life Insurance Company (Western & Southern Life), headquartered in Cincinnati, is partnering with Una Familia Sin Fronteras Foundation (A Family Without Boundaries Foundation) to advance financial education in the Hispanic community across the country. “At Western & Southern Life, we help translate financial complexity into practical financial solutions that can fit any budget,” says Anthony M. Garcia, president, W&S Agency Group. “We’re pleased to partner with Una Familia Sin Fronteras Foundation to help Hispanic consumers, the fastest growing ethnic group nationally, better understand their financial options. And we’re committed to providing the Hispanic community high quality financial education on topics such as retirement planning and family protection.” Una Familia Sin Fronteras Foundation, an initiative of Liberty Tax Service, strives to provide the financial and educational re - sources needed to empower Hispanic immigrants to achieve financial success in the United States, at little or no cost. Western & Southern Life’s support of the foundation’s efforts includes: Providing educational materials on financial security, small business issues, retirement planning and college planning; Recruiting members of the Hispanic community to represent Western & Southern Life in educating, evaluating needs, and providing financial services solutions to their peers; and Providing a Western & Southern Life representative to serve on the foundation’s advisory council. “Our foundation seeks strategic corporate partnerships that will make a positive impact on the Hispanic community,” says Martee Saldaña Pierson, director of Diversity Programs for Liberty Tax Service and Executive Director of the foundation. “We’re confident our partnership with Mr. Garcia and Western & Southern Life, a member company of one of the strongest life insurance groups in the world, will make great strides in accomplishing our mission.”
