How does Enterprise Holdings interact with professional organizations that foster diversity and inclusion?

Fayth Litke Holt
Enterprise Holdings encourages its employees to work closely with many local organizations to support the diverse communities in which the company operates. In the New York Group, we have provided scholarships, internships, and skill set training. In years past we have partnered with both the New York Urban League and the statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey to provide scholarships and paid internships to deserving minority students. Currently we are working with the New Jersey chapter of the United Negro College Fund to coordinate workforce readiness workshops. Additionally, we recently established a scholarship program with the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club. We also contribute, through the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, to the Asian Women in Business scholarship fund each year.

Does Enterprise Holdings sponsor employee resource groups to bring together employees to share their collective experiences?

Fayth Litke Holt
Enterprise Holdings sponsors a year-long formal mentoring program, which pairs a newer employee with a more tenured employee in order to develop future leaders, improve retention and employee satisfaction, and increase diversity within the company’s management ranks. Locally we have had a lot of success with our two Employee Resource Groups, W.I.N (Women’s Interactive Network) and M.I.N (Minority Interactive Network). These Employee Resource Groups provide employees with an opportunity to network, identify support people, and enhance skills to further career advancement. Additionally, these groups have provided a venue for employees to engage in meaningful dialogue with senior leadership. Overall, they have been successful and support our efforts to ensure an inclusive work environment.

What are you most proud of in your tenure at Enterprise Holdings?

Fayth Litke Holt
One of my proudest accomplishments is my role in co-pioneering the New York Group’s diversity and inclusion efforts. More than 13 years ago I played a key role in laying the foundation for local initiatives that would ultimately support workplace inclusion, supplier diversity, and community engagement. The success of these initiatives has helped the New York Group to receive The Jack Taylor Founding Values Award in each of the past 11 years. This is Enterprise Holdings’ highest honor. The award is presented to Enterprise Holdings operating groups that excel in core areas of their business, including: diversity; community relations/ philanthropy; work-life quality; and sustainability.
